An Inter-holiday Update !

Yes ...we are in the thick of it--with much to be thankful for ...and
much to keep us busy with get-togethers and goings-on...

The '59th annual Adair-family-Xmas-Extravaganza' ( It's been an
Adair Family Xmas since I was born , logically ! ) was to be at

our house this year , but will be held at bigger&newer digs at

Kelley/Roger 's place , instead .

Once again there will be guy/gal gift exchanges and the popular
White Elephant exchange ...how I'll top last years' Actual 2 '-tall White
 Elephant , I don't know !( It has found a home as a mascot for a
local rock band , so I've heard)
Children will be making a comeback in the ensuing years, after a
long absence , what with Morgan /a year old , and Jacob / ~ 9 months ,
Tom/Maureens' 'Baby( currently big as a Cantaloupe!) here in a few months ...
They'll help keep us young-at-heart , dontcha know !

Jacob News alert : He sits up - he crawls - he stands -
-he leaps over tall buildings in a single bound ---Okay , a little hyperbole there....

He has also been busy getting baptized lately , in a nice little in-home

ceremony a few days ago , just before Another Packer victory !

Actually , Everything we've done this year has been just before
another Packer victory , hey ? ( 19-in-a-row-as-I-speak.)

The Thanksgiving  Eat-a-thon was held here again , and the continuing

repercussions exist with us still in the form of Kathy's famous  twice-
unfrozen-and-reheated Turkey-Carcass/noodle soup --and you can bet
your bottom wish-bone that none of the drippings went to waste in its making...
....mmmmmmmmmmmm.....drippings .....
-maybe squeeze ONE more lunch out of it .

 

One more milestone  to point out...the 5 - year anniversary of my mom's death on December 8th , 2006

She is missed , and is still in our thoughts and dreams ...

This was at thanksgiving of that year ...
