Wow...almost 4 months...it just flew by !
Well , some news -- and a look back ..
Maureen & Tom are having a baby , come
next april 30 ( so they Say !) --We see how
well setting a date worked for Amy & Kevin !
How sweet is That ! ...Baby Riha in 2012..
Kelley & Roger are progressing on the wedding plans
for next year, August...Home improvements movin' along , too !
Niece Ashley's daughter Morgan JUST
started taking her first steps ! Yeahhhh!
Our little Jacob is doing fine --he 's about
ready to start crawling any day ...and as
usual , is smiling up a storm every time
we see him , which is quite often -- lucky
for us ,living so close !
I just won my third matchup in fantasy
football , this year...not too good out
of 9 games , but I'm learning ( and doing
the best with what players were given to
start !)
Another hobby of late , besides working ,
Kathy , Jacob , home improvement and
Many other distractions , has been Geo-
caching , which ties in nicely with our
'outdoors' lifestyle of hiking , biking , etc.
Maureen's Tom really started this madness
last year for us at our bike/camping/
Octoberfest New Glarus outing with a few
finds , and took off for me with our Big
with new Garmin GPS in hand ( that's me at the breakwater at Bar
harbor,maine )
Trying not to sound like a diary here,
but a quick update of the past few months
(Not-all-inclusive!):
-Niece Maddy's Grad party
--Sister Jamie's surprise 50th birthday party..
Good times ..Cousin Chuck adds a bit of
Pizzazz to any gathering he attends , too !
-- Big anniversaries this year ...
35 years from our First date for
Kathy & I
--25 wedded years for my brother Rob & Shelley ;
also her parent's 50th anniversary -and her
brother Steve's & wife Sue's 25th ,also !
They all renewed vows ,too !
-- Our New England trip came next --
11 days of mostly great weather for a great
mix of camping , B&B'ing , eating ,hiking
geocaching , and Kathy almost losing me
3 times -- or so she thought !
Tons of stuff to see & do in New Hampshire &
Maine ..Here's one -- a video of the 'Thunderhole'
in Acadia NP --
--There was another annual Wisconsin river
trip with the usual suspects :

--We took a swing through Horicon for
hiking , etc., and came accross the John
Deere 100-year anniversary festival , as
we see here --
September brought Kathy's birthday/Brewer
game , and all the girls ..
(Yep..Kathy , shamelessly stuffing cash in the trumpeter's lederhosen)
--And a Murder Mystery dinner event ,
birthday , and a fall weekend Color tour
thru Ozaukee county ..
south of Port Washington..plenty
of scenery that day ( don't look
down , Kathy !)
Which brings us back near the present , and
Halloween , with all it's charm ..
Yeah, we get around a bit , but it's always
nice to do the Grandma/Grandpa thing
too ...and who could keep away from
this cutie ...?
