Today I say goodbye to the last remnants of our Winter Snow as spring is ushered in ...
--This is not to say that we won't have to say hello to it's black-sheep cousin -'Spring Snow'... but hopefully he won't stick around long...we'll see !
I'm already racking up the mileage on my bicycles as the weather allows ...hoping to make a 3-day bikeride up into Doorcounty a reality come mid-august...the problem is not so much the strength issue of going 55 miles a day ; rather it's the stress on hands and butt ..you just have to acclimate yourself with practice..so..Jamie & Gwen (& whoever else might tag along) read my lips : GET OUT & RIDE !
Also..must put in a word for the Chocolate city Bike ride on may 17 (pic above is 2006)---i will do 33 miles with Chris & Kevin most likely ( if I'm free). Pre-register is $16, or $20 on that day..
It's around Burlington ( Chocolate city !) and the people in charge promise, besides
healthy snacks and drinks ,
'ALL you can eat CHOCOLATE at every rest stop !'

Some of us Adairs and Schneiders & friends are in on the NCAA basketball -bracket craze (we are the Brew City Bracket 3rd Annual group)...the final 63 games started thursday..and i just might have the inside track with my picks , thanks to a secret expert source (I , myself, am no guru).
My final four :Louisville , Duke , Memphis and Oklahoma..with Oklahoma to take all the marbles.....EAT MY DUST Brew City Buddies !
