Still on 'Rocky Mountain High' Time

Yep..Kathy & I went on a spur-of-the-moment ,

seat-of-our-pants, whirlwind trip of the Four-

Corners region last week...'Wild and Crazy'

Kids...that's us.

Actually, we Were planning on the Arkansas

Ozarks for Hiking, canoeing & camping --

But bad weather forecasts sent us further
west for sunny , warm skies ---

and they didn't disappoint us !

..And the airfare was cheap to Albuquerque,NM..

Sooo..we did some hiking in 3 national Parks (and

Dead Horse point State Park) in Colorado &

Utah....

Drove over 1200 miles...

Stayed at motels on old Route 66 - and at a

Youth Hostel...

Learned a lesson about Rock-climbing...

the scary way...

Found the only Micro-brewery in the Moab,

Utah area.................>

Ate out every nite...

Stacked a few rock 'cairns' along trails -

(and brought back just a few)..

Enjoyed every beautiful sunset...
